Bio The mellow indie pop rock band, Vekstar, coagulated in Los Angeles during 2005 and has seen a couple of line up changes since inception based around singer/writer Michael Vecchio. Their sound has been compared to artists such as Gomez, Grant Lee Buffalo, and Ben Kweller. Vekstar has had a handful of songs featured in TV shows and films such as "Zoey 101", "Real World: Hollywood", "I Hate Valentine's Day", "Bad Trip", Fashion House, "Wicked Wicked Games", "Desire", "Lover's Lane" promo, and "Trippin'". Right now, Vecchio writes and records new material in his Nashville studio.
