Story Behind the Song:
I was watching TV one day in L.A. and flipped the channel to a police car chase. It struck me as funny that these car chases happened on a weekly basis and were entertaining, like a television program...very different from my tiny midwest hometown (Garrettsville, OH), where time dripped by.
